HOW TO CREATE BUSINESS RULE IN ORACLE SOA 12c

1.Create SOA application “Business Task”

 2.Create SOA project “Salary Grade”

3.Choose Empty Composite and Click Finish

 4.Create Schema “SalaryGrade.xsd”

5.Create Synchronous BPEL process “Salary Check Bpel”

6.Drag and drop the Business Rule Component in the composite Editor and enter the name as Business Rule named “SalaryGradeRule”

7.Add Input and Outputs for that business Rule

8.Create wire between BPEL and Rule Component

9.Now Click on the SalaryGradeRule that you have created.

10.Now click on the Create Rule in the Rule Designer Window

11.Give the Rule description as “SalaryGradeCheck”

 12.Choose Simple Test in Rule in the insert test place and specify the condition to be checked.

13.Specify the action to take place

14.Now you have to configure the BPEL with RuleSet.Drag and drop the BusinessRule Component in BPEL

15.Double click the Rule Component and Select the Rule that we have specified

16.Assign Input and Output Facts

17.Click on the Plus sign near rule you have able to see that it has been automatically invoked.

18.Now you can deploy your process and test the process.
